The Concept
Set in the golden age of filmmaking – the 1950s, this adaption of Brecht’s unfinished play, The Breadshop, seeks to recontextualise the relevance of class struggle within the film industry. Issues such as nepotism, ageism, sexuality, gender and race are explored.
