I am a multi-principle designer based in london specialising in set & costume for theatre, live events and experiences.
The relationship between light and shadow has become a core part of my design philosophy. When actors and set pieces emerge from and disappear in the dark, they create a sense of mystery and depth that leaves audiences immersed in a world that feels incredibly uncanny. Designer, Maria Björnson, has been a driving factor behind this principle. Her work on Phantom Of The Opera largely inspired me to pursue theatre design and demonstrated how opulent design yet minimalist staging can both evoke intimacy and grandeur. I’m also inspired by kinetic design, particularly John Napier’s dynamic sets in Sunset Boulevard. My designs often include moving elements, adding a transformative quality that seeks to parallel the narrative arc of a show. Together, these elements have largely affected my approach to theatre design. By balancing the grand with the intimate, the static with the dynamic, I aim to create designs that can both deeply connect to the storytelling and leave audiences with a sense of wonder and appreciation for the theatre. My skillset includes set and costume design, video design, modelmaking, propmaking, graphic design and thorough collabration skills with other designers, writers and actors.
I will graduate in July 2025 with a first honours in BA Theatre Design from Wimbledon college of Arts (UAL).
I am particularly strong with modelmaking and happy to to assist other designers with their projects.
Additonally I offer FDM and SLA 3D printing services. Message me on Instagram or email me.
